About Me

I am a qualified, experienced, current teacher, based in Groby, Leicestershire, United Kingdom.

I have twelve years teaching experience in UK secondary schools, preparing exam classes for GCSE examinations in combined science, physics, chemistry and biology, and also preparing students for A-level chemistry examinations, including as head of chemistry and lead practitioner of science.

I am an examiner for GCSE science and A level chemistry with a number of exam boards.

I have experience preparing students for Chemistry Olympiad competition(run by Oxford), and Cambridge Chemistry Competition.

I also prepared students for the Royal Society of Chemistry 'Top of the Bench' competition, in which they won in the East Midlands section.
